No Mission Impossible Elementary

$189.95

Come embark on this eight week adventure as we learn what it means to go into the world and teach others about Jesus. There is No Mission Impossible for those that trust in God's purpose for their lives. This eight week series is based on the theme of going into all the world to tell others about Jesus. You will join Craig, Ange, and the rest of the team in the country of Kazakhstan. It is there that your children will learn the importance of taking a step of faith to reach out to others on an overseas mission trip. This series will help each one of your children understand that, as a Christian, there is No Mission Impossible.

This curriculum comes with one teaching DVD with all eight teaching segments, a game for each lesson entitled "G3", and interviews with kids on how they apply each lesson to their lives in a segment entitled "Live It." You also receive a resource CD with reproducible handouts, Leader Guide outlines, Student Handouts, Family EnterAction Guide, Activity books and more.

Overview

Lesson 1: Accepting The Challenge
Children will hear the parable of the two sons whose father asked them to go work in the family vineyard. Just as the first son obeyed his father, we need to obey God, accept the challenge, and go into the world.

Lesson 2: Afraid? Not!
Through the story of the twelve men who went to spy on the Promiseland, children will learn that they need to have the courage to make a difference. Just as the two men stood up for what was right by telling Moses that they could face the giants, we too need to have the courage to face our fears.

Lesson 3: Telling Others
Children will hear the parable of the sower and the seeds, in which they will find that we need to tell others about God's Word. Just as the sower planted many seeds throughout the field, we too need to spread God's Word by telling others about Jesus.

Lesson 4:Helping Others
Jesus asked Simon and Andrew, James and John to leave their current work to follow Him and teach others about Him. By following Jesus, these men were able to learn how to be a good leader. We need to show others how to be a good leader through our actions.

Lesson 5: Serving Others
When talking about a dinner party, Jesus said that we should not sit at the head of the table, but rather be humble and sit at the end of the table. Children will learn that they need to think of the interests of others rather than their own.

Lesson 6: Caring For Others
Children will hear about the four men who lowered their sick friend through a hole in the roof in order to bring him to see Jesus. Through the faith of these friends, Jesus healed the man. We too need to get involved and care for those who are sick.

Lesson 7: Teaching Others
Moses went up Mt. Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments from God. While on the mountain, God told Moses to share these commandments with the people. Children will learn that we need to do the same by teaching and instructing others in God’s ways.

Lesson 8: Mission Reminder God Is With Us Wherever We Go
While traveling toward the Promise Land, God directed the Israelites on which way to go. He provided a large cloud for them to follow during the day and a column of fire to follow at night. Through hearing this story, children will learn that God will be with us wherever we go.
