Treasure Quest is an eight week series based on Luke 12:34, which says, For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Joining Myron and the gang, your children will learn what it means to store up treasure in heaven through the following weekly themes A Trusting Heart, A Respectful Heart, An Enthusiastic Heart, An Appreciating Heart, A Serving Heart, An Understanding Heart, A Responding Heart and An Eternal Heart. After all, where your TREASURE is there your heart will be also.
What's In The Box?
This DVD series includes eight lessons. Each lesson comes with four segments: “Sing This”, “Hear This”, “Picture This”, and “Do This”. “Sing This” will get you jumping with our theme song! “Hear This” contains the Bible memory verse, with your favorite pal, Sharkey. “Picture This” is the main teaching lesson and includes the Bible Story taught in a fun and creative way. Finally, “Do This” which contains Myron reminding us how to apply the lesson to our daily life.
The CD contains several items: Artwork which can be used to promote the series at your church; The Parent/Student Handouts are for the children to use in class and take home with them; Also the Leader Guides which suggest how to organize the classroom time and lessons; A Classroom Storybook which can be used as a visual aid to retell the story during class; An EnterAction Guide for your children to take home and use with their family as a daily devotional; And an Activity Booklet that contains fun coloring pages and helps the kids to remember what they learned at church.

Overview
Lesson 1: A Trusting Heart
Preschool children will hear the story about the Roman army captain who had faith that Jesus could heal his servant. They will learn that they should have faith in God and trust Him.
Lesson 2: A Respectful Heart
Preschool children will learn about Jesus spending time with the children. They will realize that we need to treat others the way God treats us with respect and kindness.
Lesson 3: An Enthusiastic Heart
Preschool children will study the story of Zacchaeus, a dishonest tax collector who was willing to go out of his way to meet Jesus. They will see that as we follow Jesus, we will have an enthusiastic and joyful heart.
Lesson 4: A, Appreciating Heart
Preschool children will hear the story of Jesus healing the ten lepers. They will understand that, like the two lepers who came back to thank Jesus, we need to be thankful for everything God has done for us.
Lesson 5: A Serving Heart
Preschool children will study the story of the boy who shared his lunch to help Jesus feed the large crowd. They will see that we can become more like Jesus by taking care of and serving others.
Lesson 6: An Understanding Heart
Preschool children will learn about the time when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. They will realize that, like John, we need to have an open heart in order to really learn about and understand Jesus.
Lesson 7: A Responding Heart
Preschool children will study the story of Philip helping the Ethiopian understand the stories about Jesus. They will understand that we too can respond to God's word by asking Jesus into our heart.
Lesson 8: An Eternal Heart
Preschool children will learn about the time when Jesus explained to Nicodemus what it means to have an eternal life. They will see that we need to keep seeking ways to learn more about Jesus and build up our treasure in heaven.
