Rock Solid is an eight-week series that will help children understand the importance of their relationship with Jesus. They will learn that God wants them to take an active role in their choices and behavior. This series will teach kids how to become Rock Solid in their Christian faith.
This curriculum comes with one teaching DVD with all eight teaching segments, a game for each lesson entitled "G3", and interviews with kids on how they apply each lesson to their lives in a segment entitled "Live It." You also receive a resource CD with reproducible handouts, Leader Guide outlines, Student Handouts, Family EnterAction Guide, Activity books and more.

Overview
Lesson 1: Listen Up!
Children will hear the story of Jesus' visit to the home of Mary and Martha. They will learn about the importance of listening to God and making time for Him in our busy schedules. (Luke 10:38-42)
Lesson 2: Quiet Up!
Children will learn about Samuel and the first time he heard God speak to him. They will realize that they need to make a choice to be quiet and still in order to listen to God. (1 Samuel 3:1-18)
Lesson 3: Slow Up!
Children will study the story of Cain's poor treatment toward his brother, Abel. They will see the importance of slowing down and thinking about their actions before saying or doing something they regret. (Genesis 4:2-12)
Lesson 4: Grow Up!
Children will hear the story of Joseph and his brothers' jealousy toward him. They will understand the importance
of growing up by learning that God wants us to show love to others instead of reacting in anger. (Genesis 37)
Lesson 5: Pull Up!
Children will study the story of Jonah and the big fish. They will see the importance of pulling closer to God by following Him. (Jonah 1-4)
Lesson 6: Stand Up!
Children will learn about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego standing up for what they believed in and, as a consequence, getting thrown into the furnace. They will realize that God will always be with them if they put their trust in Him. (Daniel 3:1-30)
Lesson 7: Give Up!
Children will study the story of Daniel and the lion's den. They will understand the importance of obeying God, even when it means giving up what they want in order to do what God wants. (Daniel 6:1-28)
Lesson 8: Show Up!
Children will learn about Moses and Aaron asking Pharaoh to free the people of Israel. They will see the importance of showing up in order for God to use them. (Exodus 5:1-12:32)
