Treasure Quest is an eight week series using a game show format where three contestants compete each week trying to win the GRAND PRIZE. Each of the three contestants teach each lesson in a creative way through this fun game show format. This series is based on Luke 12:34, which says, For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Your children will learn what it means to store up treasure in heaven through the following weekly themes A Trusting Heart, A Respectful Heart, An Enthusiastic Heart, An Appreciating Heart, A Serving Heart, An Understanding Heart, A Responding Heart and An Eternal Heart. After all, where your TREASURE is there your heart will be also.
This curriculum comes with one teaching DVD with all eight teaching segments, a game for each lesson entitled "G3", and interviews with kids on how they apply each lesson to their lives in a segment entitled "Live It." You also receive a resource CD with reproducible handouts, Leader Guide outlines, Student Handouts, Family EnterAction Guide, Activity books and more.

Overview
Lesson 1: A Trusting Heart
Children will hear the story about the Roman army captain who had faith that Jesus could heal his servant. They will learn that they should have faith in God and trust Him.
Lesson 2: A Respectful Heart
Children will learn about Jesus spending time with the children. They will realize that we need to treat others the way God treats us with respect and kindness.
Lesson 3: An Enthusiastic Heart
Children will study the story of Zacchaeus, a dishonest tax collector who was willing to go out of his way to meet Jesus. They will see that as we follow Jesus, we will have an enthusiastic and joyful heart.
Lesson 4: An Appreciating Heart
Children will hear the story of Jesus healing the ten lepers. They will understand that, like the leper who came back
to thank Jesus, we need to be thankful for everything God has done for us.
Lesson 5: A Serving Heart
Children will study the story of the boy who shared his lunch to help Jesus feed the large crowd. They will see that we can become more like Jesus by taking care of and serving others.
Lesson 6: An Understanding Heart
Children will learn about the time when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. They will realize that, like John, we need to have an open heart in order to really learn about and understand Jesus.
Lesson 7: A Responding Heart
Children will study the story of Philip helping the Ethiopian understand the stories about Jesus. They will understand that they too can respond to God's word by asking Jesus into their heart.
Lesson 8: An Eternal Heart
Children will learn about the time when Jesus explained to Nicodemus what it means to have an eternal life. They will see that we need to keep seeking ways to learn more about Jesus and build up our treasure in heaven.
