Join Myron and the gang in this eight weeks series as they explore what it means to be Rock Solid in their Christian life. This early childhood program was created to help pre-school children learn how God wants them to take an active role in their choices and behaviors.
What's In The Download?
This series includes eight lessons. Each lesson comes with four segments: “Sing This”, “Hear This”, “Picture This”, and “Do This”. “Sing This” will get you jumping with our theme song! “Hear This” contains the Bible memory verse, with your favorite pal, Sharkey. “Picture This” is the main teaching lesson and includes the Bible Story taught in a fun and creative way. Finally, “Do This” which contains Myron reminding us how to apply the lesson to our daily life.
The Resource CD download contains several items: Artwork which can be used to promote the series at your church; The Parent/Student Handouts are for the children to use in class and take home with them; Also the Leader Guides which suggest how to organize the classroom time and lessons; A Classroom Storybook which can be used as a visual aid to retell the story during class; An EnterAction Guide for your children to take home and use with their family as a daily devotional; And an Activity Booklet that contains fun coloring pages and helps the kids to remember what they learned at church.

Overview
Lesson 1: Listen Up!
Pre-school children will hear the story of the time when Jesus went to the home of two sisters, Mary and Martha. They will learn that they need to make time in their busy lives to listen to Jesus.
Lesson 2: Quiet Up!
Through the story of God speaking to the young boy Samuel, pre-school children will hear about Samuel getting quiet and listening to God. They will discover that they too need to tune into God.
Lesson 3: Slow Up!
Pre-school children will listen to the story of Cain and Abel and how Cain let his anger control his actions. Slowing down is hard to do, but pre-school children will learn that they need to remember to let God guard their hearts so He can be there when things get out of hand.
Lesson 4: Grow Up!
In the story of Joseph and his brothers, Joseph's brothers become jealous and hurt him. Pre-school children will learn that they need to learn how to handle their anger by practicing self-control.
Lesson 5: Pull Up!
Pre-school children will be taught the story of Jonah and the big fish. Jonah tried to push away from God, but finally realized that the right way was to obey God. They will learn the importance of obeying God and drawing closer to Him.
Lesson 6: Stand Up!
When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego took a stand for God, they were punished by being thrown into a fiery furnace. But God protected them by sending an Angel. Pre-school children will learn that they too need to trust God and stand up for what they believe.
Lesson 7: Give Up!
Pre-school children will learn about Daniel staying true to God by not giving in to the new law. He was punished by being thrown into the lions's den, but God protected him. They will discover that God will honor them if they surrender to God by giving up to Him.
Lesson 8: Show Up!
God had Moses and Aaron go to Pharaoh and ask him to release the Israelites. Moses didn't want to obey, but he showed up anyway and allowed God to use him in an amazing way. Pre-school children will learn from this story that God can do great things if they simply let God use them.
