An eight-week video series emphasizing the Fruit of the Spirit. Children will learn about the different qualities God's Spirit can develop in us as we meet various Bible characters who exemplify these traits in their lives. They will hear about love, happiness, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

This curriculum comes with one teaching DVD with all eight teaching segments, a game for each lesson entitled "G3", and interviews with kids on how they apply each lesson to their lives in a segment entitled "Live It." Lesson 1: Love
Children will hear the story about Esther standing up to the king in order to protect her people. They will learn that if we turn to God, He will give us strength and courage to act out of love. (Esther 1:1-10:3)

Overview

Lesson 1: Love
Children will hear the story about Esther standing up to the king in order to protect her people. They will learn that if we turn to God, He will give us strength and courage to act out of love. (Esther 1:1-10:3)

Lesson 2: Happy
Children will learn about Jacob and his fear of confronting his brother Esau. They will realize that we need to trust God in order for Him to turn our fears into happiness. (Genesis 32-33 NIV)

Lesson 3: Peaceful
Children will study the "Sons of Thunder", James and John, and their angry attitudes. They will see that God does not want us to get angry, but rather have a peaceful heart. (Luke 9:51-54 NIV)

Lesson 4: Patient
Children will hear the story of Abraham and Sarah becoming impatient as they waited to have a child. They will understand that we need to wait for God's timing rather than our own timing. (Genesis 12:1-7; Genesis 17:5-18:15)

Lesson 5: Kind, Good
Children will study the story of Joseph selling his land in order to help others. They will see that we can show Christ's love to others simply by being kind. (Acts 4:36-37; Acts 9:27-15:39)

Lesson 6: Faithful
Children will learn about Daniel being taken away to Babylon, but staying faithful to God by continuing to worship and obey Him. They will realize that we need to remain faithful to God by following Him and making good choices, even in times of hardship. (Daniel 1)

Lesson 7: Gentle
Children will study the story of Saul's blinding experience on the road to Damascus. They will understand that if we choose to accept and follow Christ, He will give us a gentle spirit. (Acts 9:20-31)

Lesson 8: Self-Control
Children will learn about Simon and the first time he met Jesus. They will see that, with God in our lives, He can help us think before we act or speak. (John 1:40-42)
